What we believe...

ABOUT THE TRINITY
We believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and their equality within the Godhead

ABOUT GOD THE FATHER
We believe in the sovereignty of God in creation and salvation
We believe in a loving God who adopts each believer into his family and becomes their heavenly Father.

ABOUT JESUS CHRIST
We believe in the deity of Christ and his perfect and sinless humanity; that he came to reveal God to mankind.
We believe in the authority of his teaching and the complete sufficiency of his death on the cross for our salvation.
We believe in his bodily, resurrection and his ascension into heaven.

ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in the world.
We believe in his unique ability to create conviction of sin and to convince us of our need for Christ.
We believe that he indwells every believer, empowering and enabling them to become more like Christ.

ABOUT THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is the inspired record of God's revelation of himself to mankind
We believe that the Bible is the authority in all matters of our belief and conduct

ABOUT MAN
We believe in the universal sinfulness and guilt of fallen humanity and the necessity of forgiveness and redemption.
We believe in the forgiveness of sins and eternal life through repentance and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

ABOUT THE FUTURE
We believe in the personal return of Christ to receive his Church and to establish his universal kingdom.
We believe in the final judgement of the world, when all believers will be raised to eternal life in heaven and unbelievers to eternal loss and separation from God.

ABOUT THE CHURCH
We believe that the Church of Jesus Christ is a body which consists of all who truly acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
We believe that the role of the Church is to communicate God's love and offer of salvation to all people.

WE PRACTISE
Baptism by immersion following personal faith in Jesus Christ.
Communion for all believers in which we remember Jesus' death and resurrection and rejoice in his love for us.
